4. Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous Ranking: 3

Dropping a spot to No. 4 in our latest update is Arkansas, as the Razorbacks concluded the regular season with a 39-15 overall record, as well as a 20-10 mark in conference play to be named SEC regular season co-champions. The Razorbacks would originally win game one at Vanderbilt during the weekend, 8-2, but would go on to drop games two and three by final scores of 10-8 and 7-6, respectively.

Arkansas is now the No. 2 seed in the 2023 SEC Tournament, opening play Wednesday against the winner of Tennessee/Texas A&M.

3. Vanderbilt Commodores

Previous Ranking: 4

One of SEC baseball’s most noteworthy risers of the week was Vanderbilt, as the Commodores climb a spot to No. 3 after finishing the regular season at 37-17 overall, as well as 19-11 in SEC play. As mentioned previously, the Commodores would drop game one at home to Arkansas, 8-2, but would bounce back with a win in games two and three, 10-8 and 7-6, respectively.

Vanderbilt is now the No. 4 seed in the SEC Tournament, and will begin play Wednesday against the winner of Auburn/Missouri.
