6. Texas A&M Aggies

Previous Ranking: 10

Easily the biggest riser in our final update was Texas A&M, as the Aggies rose four spots to No. 6 coming off an impressive week at the SEC Tournament. The No. 10 seed Aggies would open the week with a 3-0 win over Tennessee, and after falling to Arkansas in the second round, 6-5, would go on to defeat South Carolina (5-0), LSU (5-4), and Arkansas (5-4) before falling to Vanderbilt in the championship game, 10-4.

Now sitting at 36-25 for the year, Texas A&M will begin NCAA Tournament action this weekend as the No. 2 seed in the Stanford Regional.

5. Alabama Crimson Tide

Previous Ranking: 5

Remaining in their previous spot to begin the top five is Alabama, as the Crimson Tide are coming off an impressive run in Hoover. The No. 9 seeded Crimson Tide opened the week with a 4-0 win over Kentucky, and would go on to fall to Florida, 7-6, as well as defeat Auburn, 7-4, before falling to Vanderbilt in the fourth round, 9-2.

Alabama, who is now 40-19 this season, will open NCAA Tournament action Friday as the No. 1 seed in the Tuscaloosa Regional.
