4. LSU Tigers

Previous Ranking: 2

LSU becomes the first team to drop within the top five this week, as the Tigers fall two spots to No. 4. After beginning this past week with a 10-3 win over South Carolina in the second round, the No. 3 seeded Tigers would go on to drop their next two games against Arkansas and Texas A&M, both of which came by a final score of 5-4.

The Tigers now sit at 43-15 overall this season, and will begin NCAA Tournament play Friday as the No. 1 seed in the Baton Rouge Regional.

3. Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous Ranking: 4

Rising a spot in our final update is Arkansas, as the SEC Baseball regular season co-champions sit at No. 3 to conclude the year. The No. 2 seeded Razorbacks would originally begin this past week with a 6-5 second round win over Texas A&M, and would also go on to defeat LSU, 5-4, before falling in the semifinals to Texas A&M, 5-4.

The Razorbacks now sit at 41-16 overall for the year, and will begin the NCAA Tournament as a No. 1 seed in the Fayetteville Regional.
