Ole Miss, Georgia among SEC Basketball May recruiting winners

Ole Miss Rebels

May Commits:

  • 4-star C Rashaud Marshall
  • 3-star PF Cameron Barnes
  • 3-star SG Jason Jackson

We begin here with Ole Miss, as the Rebels were the only SEC basketball program to land multiple commitments during the month of May. Landing a total of three, two of those commitments came in the Rebels 2023 class, while Ole Miss also added the first commit of their 2024 cycle.

As for the Rebels 2023 class, Ole Miss landed the highest-ranked commit of the cycle in Rashaud Marshall out of Blytheville (AR), a four-star center who had previously decommitted back in April. The Rebels also landed a commitment from Cameron Barnes, a three-star power forward out of Duncanville (TX).

In addition to those two, the Rebels also landed a commitment from Jason Jackson, who is Ole Miss’ first addition of the 2024 cycle as mentioned previously. A former Texas Tech commit, Jackson is rated as a three-star shooting guard, and plays with Overtime Elite.
