Tennessee Volunteers

May Commits:

  • 4-star RB Peyton Lewis
  • 4-star DL Kellen Lindstrom
  • 4-star EDGE Emmanuel Okoye

The next SEC football recruiting winner during May was Tennessee, as the Volunteers were one of two programs to land a total of three commitments. Of those three, two came via the Volunteers 2024 class, while the other came in Tennessee’s 2023 cycle.

Looking at the two 2024 commitments, the arguable headline name was that of Peyton Lewis, a three-star running back out of Salem (VA). The Volunteers other 2024 commitment came on the defensive side of the ball in Kellen Lindstrom, a four-star defensive lineman out of Glendale (MO).

As for Tennessee’s third commitment, the Volunteers added Emmanuel Okoye to their 2023 class during May. Okoye is rated as a four-star edge rusher out of the NFL Academy in London, England, and is the Volunteers’ 26th commitment of the 2023 cycle overall.
