5. Florida at Texas

The Texas Longhorns will play the Florida Gators for the first time since 1940 in a matchup that will probably feature blue chip QB Arch Manning in one of his first starts of his career.

By this time, Billy Napier will be in his third season at UF and Steve Sarkisian will be in his fourth season at UT.

This matchup could be make or break for both coaches.

But for the Gators as a team, it will be just one game of what is a gruesome 2024 schedule.

Florida will battle in-state teams like Miami, UCF, and FSU in their out of conference games (at least they get Samford).

And in conference play they will face LSU, Texas A&M, Georgia (neutral site), and Ole Miss… at home. They still have to go on the road to play Texas and Tennessee.
