Alabama included in Top 3 for 5-star PF Jarin Stevenson
Released on Friday, Alabama was included in the top three finalists for Jarin Stevenson, with the Crimson Tide also joined by North Carolina and Virginia. Stevenson is considered as one of the top power forwards in the 2024 class, rated as a five-star prospect out of Seaforth (NC).
Kentucky C Aaron Bradshaw could miss start of 2023-24 season
According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, incoming Kentucky freshman center Aaron Bradshaw has suffered a foot injury, and could miss the start of the 2023-24 season. Bradshaw is one of the top names in a Kentucky 2023 class that is currently the nation’s best, rated as a five-star center out of Camden High School in New Jersey.
Alabama QB commit Julian Sayin named 2023 Elite 11 MVP
A competition in recent days that has pitted some of the nation’s top 2024 quarterbacks against each other, Alabama commit Julian Sayin was named the 2023 Elite 11 MVP on Friday. Sayin is rated as a five-star prospect out of Carlsbad High School in California.
4-star QB Austin Simmons flips from Florida to Ole Miss
Ole Miss football landed a commitment to their 2023 class Saturday in Austin Simmons, who was previously a 2025 prospect committed to Florida, flipping to the Rebels from the Gators. A four-star quarterback out of Moore Haven (FL), Simmons is the Rebels first QB commit of the 2023 cycle.
SF Devon Pryor decommits from LSU
Devon Pryor, who is a small forward in the 2024 class, decommitted from LSU on Saturday. Pryor attends PSAT-XEA Academy in Texas, and had previously been committed to the Tigers since May.
