10. Auburn Tigers

We begin the Top 10 here at the No. 10 spot with Auburn, as the Tigers will certainly be looking for a better finish to the season next year compared to this past spring. As for what the Tigers season looked like, Auburn would finish the year with a 34-23-1 overall record, dropping each of their last four games, which included two-straight losses in the Auburn Regional of the NCAA Tournament.

The Tigers are also likely set to lose a few key names from this season, headlined by some of their top hitters in Bryson Ware, Bobby Peirce, Cole Foster, and Kason Howell, along with others such as Tommy Vail. Auburn’s 2024 roster will however also return Freshman All-SEC selection Ike Irish, along with a few others such as Chris Stanfield, Will Cannon, and more.

9. Texas A&M Aggies

Coming in at No. 9 in our way-too-early 2024 power rankings is Texas A&M, as the Aggies are also coming off a regional appearance this past spring. Texas A&M would finish the year with a 38-27 overall record to make the NCAA Tournament, but would fall just short of a super regional, as the Aggies season came to a conclusion in the Stanford Regional.

Looking ahead, the Aggies are likely set to lose the likes of Hunter Haas and Nathan Detmer to the MLB Draft, along with potentially a few others. Texas A&M is however set to return a talented roster as well, one that will be headlined by names such as Freshman All-SEC selection Jace LaViolette and Kaeden Kent, among others.
