SEC News: LSU, Mississippi State land baseball transfer commitments

A two-day span that was headlined by multiple commitments across the conference, here are a few things to know from the SEC on Friday and Saturday.
4-star IOL William Satterwhite commits to Tennessee
Tennessee has landed the highest-ranked offensive line commit of their 2024 class in William Satterwhite. Satterwhite is rated as a four-star interior offensive lineman out of Archbishop Hoban (OH).
Memphis transfer INF Logan Kohler commits to Mississippi State
Mississippi State has added a commitment via the transfer portal from Memphis junior infielder Logan Kohler. Kohler started in all 52 games a year ago for the Tigers, slashing .330/.404/.574 with 11 HR, 34 RBI, and nine SB.
4-star OT Nyier Daniels commits to Georgia
Georgia has landed an offensive line commitment from Nyier Daniels, who is a four-star offensive tackle in the 2024 class. Daniels is one of the top players in the state of New Jersey for the cycle, where he attends Bergen Catholic (NJ).
4-star QB Demond Williams decommits from Ole Miss
Having previously been committed to the Rebels since December of 2022, Demond Williams has decommitted from Ole Miss. Williams is rated as a four-star quarterback in the 2024 class out of Basha High School in Arizona.
UCLA transfer LHP Gage Jump commits to LSU
The defending national champion LSU Tigers have landed a commitment via the transfer portal from Gage Jump, who is a left-handed pitcher at UCLA. A former 18th round pick from the 2021 MLB Draft out of high school, Jump missed the entirety of the 2023 season due to injury, but posted a 1-1 record with a 3.86 ERA and 22:11 K:BB ratio across 16.1 IP back in 2022.
Colorado transfer TE Seydou Traore commits to Mississippi State
Mississippi State has added a transfer commitment from Colorado tight end Seydou Traore, who had previously spent the 2022 season at Arkansas State. Traore was among the top tight ends in the Sun Belt a year ago, amassing 50 receptions for 655 yards and four touchdowns.
