SEC News: Top recruits Lewis, Frazier release Top 8 finalists

Let’s take a look back at some of the SEC’s biggest headlines from across the conference Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, which featured two of the nation’s top offensive recruits releasing their top eight finalists that included multiple programs from the conference.
4-star OT Fletcher Westphal commits to Florida
The Florida Gators added what is the highest-rated offensive line commitment of their 2024 class in Fletcher Westphal. Westphal is rated as a four-star offensive tackle out of Tuscarora (VA).
2 SEC programs included in Top 5 for 4-star SF Zion Sensley
Zion Sensley has released a list of his top five schools, with Alabama and LSU both included, along with Arizona State, Hawaii, and Saint Mary’s. Sensley is rated as a four-star small forward in the 2024 class out of Archbishop Riordan (CA).
4-star WR Amari Jefferson sets commitment date between 3 SEC programs
Amari Jefferson has set a commitment date of August 5, and will be deciding between three programs from the conference – Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. Jefferson is rated as a four-star wide receiver in the 2024 class out of Baylor School in Tennessee.
5 SEC programs included in Top 8 for 4-star RB Nate Frazier
A total of five SEC programs were included in the top eight for Nate Frazier, with Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas A&M joined by Miami, Nebraska, and Oregon. Frazier is one of the premier running backs in the 2024 class, rated as a four-star prospect out of national powerhouse Mater Dei in California.
4 SEC programs included in Top 8 for QB Julian Lewis
One of the nation’s top quarterbacks in the 2026 class, four SEC programs have been included in the top eight for Julian Lewis, as Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and Texas A&M were joined by Florida State, Ohio State, Oregon, and USC. Lewis attends Carrollton High School in Georgia.
