We begin the list of SEC football recruiting winners during July 2023 with Alabama, as head coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide landed eight commitments throughout the month, the most of any program across the conference. Arguably the biggest name of that group as well was that of Jaime Ffrench, a five-star wide receiver out of Mandarin High School in Florida, who is the now the fifth commitment of the Crimson Tide’s 2025 class, as well as the second five-star at the position alongside long-time commit Ryan Williams.

Six of Alabama’s commitments during July came via their 2024 class, with some of the biggest names being that of four-star cornerback Zabien Brown (Mater Dei, CA), four-star tight end Caleb Odom (Carrollton, GA), and four-star interior offensive lineman Casey Poe (Lindale, TX). Alabama also added two additional four-star prospects to their 2024 class during the month of July, which included athlete Jameer Grimsley (Tampa Catholic, FL) and in-state interior offensive lineman William Sanders (Brookwood, AL).

The Crimson Tide’s final 2024 commitment came from three-star linebacker Justin Okoronkwo, who is an international prospect, where he is the No. 1 player in Germany. Alabama’s eighth, and final, commitment during July was their first of the 2026 cycle, as the Crimson Tide landed Zykie Helton, an interior offensive lineman out of Carrollton High School in Georgia.
