4. Will Sheppard – Vanderbilt Commodores

2022 Stats: 60 receptions, 776 yards, 9 TD across 12 games

Coming in at No. 4 is Sheppard, who is arguably the biggest name set to return for the Vanderbilt Commodores this season. Across the last three seasons in Nashville, Sheppard has impressed with the Commodores, where he has amassed a combined 105 receptions for 1,383 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Looking back at last season, Sheppard would rank No. 2 in the SEC with nine touchdowns, which came via 60 receptions (No. 5 in SEC) for 776 yards. Having had at-least 500+ receiving yards in each of the last two seasons, Sheppard is likely set to eclipse that mark once again this season, and could very easily flirt with a 1,000-yard campaign with the Commodores this fall.

3. Dominic Lovett – Georgia Bulldogs

2022 Stats: 56 receptions, 846 yards, 3 TD, 7 carries, 6 yards across 12 games

The highest-ranked transfer from this past offseason to make this list comes at No. 3 with Lovett, who transferred within the SEC East from Missouri to Georgia. Lovett has spent the last two years with the Tigers, where he has amassed a combined 1,019 yards and three touchdowns on a total of 82 receptions, while also having rushed for 46 yards and a score on 11 attempts.

As for a year ago, Lovett would enjoy a breakout season at Missouri, where he would catch a total of 56 passes for 846 yards and three touchdowns as one of the top producers for the Tigers, while also rushing for six yards on seven attempts. Lovett should be set for yet another impressive year as well, with the Missouri transfer a candidate to surpass the 1,000-yard mark at Georgia.
