Alabama Football 2023 Season Predictions

In conclusion, here are a few overall predictions this season for the 2023 Alabama Crimson Tide.

  • Alabama will finish the regular season with a 12-1 record, as well as win the 2023 SEC title. Despite dropping one regular season contest, the Crimson Tide will still make the College Football Playoff, and will go on to play for a national championship in January.
  • Whether it be Jalen Milroe, Ty Simpson, or Tyler Buchner, Alabama’s starting quarterback will officially claim the job for good during week two against Texas at home.
  • Out of Alabama’s running back room, which features Jase McClellan, Roydell Williams, Justice Haynes, Jam Miller, and Richard Young, the Crimson Tide will have two 1,000-yard rushers in 2023.
  • Alabama will have one player in contention for the Heisman Trophy at seasons end.
  • Alabama will have an All-SEC selection on offense, defense, and special teams.
  • After no wide receiver reached the mark a year ago, Alabama will have at-least one wideout eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in 2023.
  • For the first time since Jaylen Waddle in 2018, an Alabama player will be named the 2023 SEC Freshman of the Year, as safety Caleb Downs will take home honors at seasons end.
  • The Crimson Tide will have three All-Americans at seasons end – offensive tackle JC Latham, cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry, and outside linebacker Dallas Turner.
  • Alabama will have a breakout player on both sides of the ball this season – wide receiver Kendrick Law and inside linebacker Jihaad Campbell.
