5. Texas A&M

It is understandable to be skeptical of the Aggies entering 2023. They haven’t given any reason to think otherwise during the Jimbo Fisher era.

But with the way Fisher recruits, how highly ranked Texas A&M will begin the season (No. 23), and their manageable schedule, they have a shot.

Now this isn’t to say they have an easy schedule, but compared to some of the teams that have already appeared on the list, Aggie fans should be grateful.

Texas A&M’s 2023 will essentially consist of the SEC West, Tennessee, and traveling to Miami.

Compared to Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Florida, there is no way Texas A&M–with all of those highly touted recruits–shouldn’t be foaming at the mouth from this opportunity.

With LSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss in that bunch, I still wouldn’t bet the house, but if they go through the changes that have been advertised this offseason, they won’t have to worry about much else.
