SEC Champion:

Alabama and Georgia (Tied)

All of our ballots agreed on four team’s spots in their respective divisions; Georgia winning the East, Alabama winning the West, LSU finishing runner-up in the West, and Vandy rounding out the East. While our group was unanimous with Alabama playing Georgia in Atlanta, we were split right down the middle on who we think will win. Two of our ballots picked Alabama to get their crown back, while the other two picked Georgia to go back-to-back as SEC Champions.

Our voters were also notably bullish on Texas A&M rising in the West (going from tied for sixth in last season’s final SEC standings to third in this year’s preseason poll). We also had one tie in each division, with Florida and Missouri tying for fifth in the East, while Arkansas and Auburn tied for fourth in the West.
