12. Missouri Tigers

Previous Ranking: 13

The first team to rise a spot is Missouri up to No. 12 from No. 13, as the Tigers opened the season Thursday night with a 35-10 home win over South Dakota. A game in which Missouri never trailed, the Tigers would carry a 28-3 lead into halftime, and out-gained South Dakota in total yardage for the contest, 437-194.

Now sitting at 1-0 on the year, Missouri will remain at home in Week 2, as the Tigers host Middle Tennessee.

11. Auburn Tigers

Previous Ranking: 11

Remaining at No. 11 is Auburn, as the Tigers opened year one of the Freeze era with a blowout 59-14 win at home over UMass in Week 1. The Tigers would carry a 31-7 lead into halftime in the contest, and would pull away even more in the second half by outscoring the Minutemen, 28-7.

Now sitting at 1-0, the Tigers will play their first road game of the year in Week 2 as they travel across the country to face California.
