8. Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous Ranking: 9

Rising a spot from No. 9 to No. 8 is Arkansas, as the Razorbacks opened the 2023 season with a 56-13 home route of Western Carolina. This would be a dominant showing for the Razorbacks, especially in the first half, where they carried a 35-3 lead into halftime.

Now sitting at 1-0, the Razorbacks will remain at home in Week 2, as Arkansas hosts Kent State.

7. Texas A&M Aggies

Previous Ranking: 7

Remaining at No. 7 this week is Texas A&M, as the Aggies had one of SEC football’s most notable showings Saturday in their 52-10 win over New Mexico. The Aggies would carry a 35-7 lead into halftime during the contest, and would receive an impressive showing from quarterback Conner Weigman, who threw for five touchdowns.

Texas A&M (1-0) will now play in one of the SEC’s premier matchups in Week 2, as the Aggies are set to travel to Florida for a matchup with the Miami Hurricanes.
