2. Alabama Crimson Tide

Previous Ranking: 2

Remaining at No. 2 in this week’s update is Alabama, as the Crimson Tide rolled to a win Saturday night over Middle Tennessee, 56-7. A game in which Jalen Milroe got the start at quarterback, the redshirt sophomore would impress by accounting for five total touchdowns, with this also being a complete showing for the Crimson Tide overall.

Alabama will now remain at home for Week 2 as they host SEC football’s top matchup of the slate this weekend against Texas in Tuscaloosa.

1. Georgia Bulldogs

Previous Ranking: 1

Also remaining in their top spot this week is Georgia, as the Bulldogs defeated UT Martin by a final score of 48-7. A near complete performance for the Bulldogs, Georgia would amass 559 yards of total offense, while also holding UT Martin off the scoreboard until late in the fourth quarter.

Georgia will remain at home this Saturday, as the Bulldogs host Ball State in Week 2.
