12. Missouri Tigers

Previous Ranking: 13

One of the SEC’s most impressive results Saturday came from Missouri, who jumped a spot from No. 13 to No. 12 after defeating Kansas State at home, 30-27. A game in which Missouri trailed entering the fourth quarter, the Tigers would outscore Kansas State in the final frame, 13-3, and would go on to win the game as time expired via a 61-yard field goal from kicker Harrison Mevis.

Sitting undefeated at 3-0 this season, Missouri will play Memphis this week at a neutral-site in St. Louis, MO.

11. Auburn Tigers

Previous Ranking: 11

Remaining at the No. 11 spot is Auburn, as the Tigers defeated Samford at home by a final score of 45-13. An impressive performance from the Tigers, Auburn would carry a 17-0 lead into the half, and would out-gain Samford in total yardage, 562-218, which was headlined by 222 on the ground.

Sitting undefeated at 3-0 for the year, Auburn will open SEC football play this weekend at Texas A&M.
