4. Ole Miss Rebels

Previous Ranking: 5

The first of two teams to rise within the top five this week is Ole Miss, as the Rebels jump to No. 4 from No. 5 as a result of their 48-23 home win over Georgia Tech. A game in which Ole Miss would rush for 299 yards, the Rebels would carry a 10-3 lead into halftime, and would outscore Georgia Tech a combined 38-20 in the second half.

Sitting undefeated at 3-0 this season, Ole Miss will open SEC football action this weekend by traveling to Alabama.

3. LSU Tigers

Previous Ranking: 4

Rising a spot from No. 3 to No. 4 is LSU, as the Tigers put together a near complete performance on the road to defeat Mississippi State, 41-14. A game in which they never trailed, LSU would own a 24-7 advantage at halftime, and would out-gain the Bulldogs in total yardage, 530-201.

Now sitting at 2-1 this season, as well as 1-0 in the SEC, LSU will host Arkansas on Saturday in Baton Rouge.
