8. Conner Weigman (Texas A&M)

Previous Ranking: 8

Conner Weigman put up a big stat-line as Texas A&M cruised past UL-Monroe 47-3 to get back above .500. Weigman was 25/29 passing for 337 passing yards, 18 rushing yards, 2 total TD’s (1 passing, 1 rushing), and 0 INT’s. On the year, Weigman has a 70.5% completion percentage (74/105 passing), 909 passing yards, 69 rushing yards, 10 total TD’s (8 passing, 2 rushing), and 2 INT’s.

Weigman will hope to lead the Aggies to a 1-0 start in SEC play as A&M hosts Payton Thorne/Robby Ashford and Auburn on Saturday at Noon Eastern.

7. Joe Milton III (Tennessee)

Previous Ranking: 7

It was a very disappointing 29-16 loss for Tennessee as they were upset by Florida. The Vols dominated the second half yardage wise, but were only able to cash in for one touchdown. Milton’s numbers were fine, but the connection between Milton and the receivers just felt off. The veteran ended up going 20/34 passing for 287 yards, 2 passing TD’s, and 1 INT. Overall for the season, Milton has a 63.9% completion percentage (62/97 passing), 716 passing yards, 46 rushing yards, 9 total TD’s (6 passing, 3 rushing), and 1 INT.

Milton and the Vols will hope for a bounce-back on Saturday as they head back into non-conference action against UTSA at 4:00 pm Eastern in Knoxville.
