SEC Football: Kentucky, Missouri rise in Week 5 2023 power rankings

8. Arkansas Razorbacks

Coming off their second-straight loss in which they fell on the road at LSU, 34-31, Arkansas stays in the No. 8 spot this week. A game in which Arkansas led 13-10 at halftime, the Razorbacks did outscore the Tigers 15-10 in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to comeback after LSU out-scored them 14-3 in third quarter.

The Razorbacks now sit at 2-2 overall this season, as well as 0-1 in SEC play, and will now take on Texas A&M this weekend in a neutral-site matchup.

7. Texas A&M Aggies

Speaking of the Aggies, Texas A&M remains in the No. 7 spot coming off their 27-10 home win over Auburn. As mentioned previously, Texas A&M would never trail in the contest, as well as out-gain the Tigers in total yardage, 402-200, with 209 coming on the ground.

Now sitting at 3-1 overall, as well as 1-0 in the SEC, Texas A&M will face Arkansas on Saturday in the aforementioned neutral-site matchup.
