4. Will Rogers (Mississippi State)

Previous Ranking: 4

It was a shootout in Columbia on Saturday, which boded well for both our No. 3 and No. 4 QB’s. Rogers had his most explosive game of his season as he went 30-of-48 through the air for 487 passing yards, 1 passing TD, and 1 INT. For the season, Rogers has a 60.7% completion percentage (74/122 passing) for 979 passing yards, 6 passing TD’s, and 1 INT.

Rogers and Mississippi State will host Jalen Milroe and Alabama at 9:00 pm Eastern on Saturday in what might be close to a must-win for the Bulldogs.

3. Spencer Rattler (South Carolina)

Previous Ranking: 3

Rattler is knocking on the door of the top two as he continues to piece together strong performances. This week he helped lead South Carolina past Mississippi State 37-30. In the game, Rattler was 18-of-20 through the air for 288 passing yards, 43 rushing yards, 3 passing TD’s, and 0 INT’s. On the year, Rattler has a 74.2% completion percentage (95/128 passing), 1,242 passing yards, 64 rushing yards, 8 total TD’s (7 passing, 1 rushing), and 2 INT’s.

Rattler could have a tough test this week as South Carolina travels to Knoxville to take on what looks to be an improved Tennessee defense at 7:30 pm Eastern. This should be a good QB battle as well as Rattler goes up against Joe Milton III.
