8. Missouri Tigers

Previous Ranking: 11

One of the biggest risers in our SEC football power rankings this week is Missouri, as the Tigers jump three spots to No. 8 from No. 11 coming off their 38-21 road win at Vanderbilt. The Tigers fifth-straight win this season, Missouri would out-gain Vanderbilt in total yardage, 532-300, and would receive a big game from quarterback Brady Cook throwing for 395 yards and four touchdowns.

One of SEC football’s three remaining undefeated teams at 5-0, Missouri (1-0 in SEC) will return home this weekend for a matchup against LSU.

7. Texas A&M Aggies

Previous Ranking: 7

Remaining at No. 7 this week is Texas A&M, as the Aggies won their third consecutive game by defeating Arkansas in Arlington, 34-22. Despite committing three turnovers in the contest, the Aggies would carry a 17-6 lead into halftime, and would out-gain Arkansas in total yardage by a total of 414-174.

Texas A&M (4-1 overall, 2-0 in SEC) will now return home for one of the conference’s top games this weekend against Alabama.
