2. Alabama Crimson Tide

Previous Ranking: 2

Remaining in the No. 2 spot this week is Alabama, as the Crimson Tide won their fourth-straight game with a 26-20 road victory at Texas A&M. A game in which Alabama outscored the Aggies a combined 16-3 during the second half, the Crimson Tide would out-gain Texas A&M, 344-306, in total yardage, with 321 coming through the air.

Now sitting at 5-1 overall, as well as the lone undefeated SEC West team at 3-0, Alabama is set to return home Saturday for a matchup against Arkansas.

1. Georgia Bulldogs

Previous Ranking: 1

Holding onto their top spot once again this week is Georgia, as the Bulldogs had one of their most complete performances of the season Saturday with a 51-13 home win over Kentucky. Arguably a complete showing from the Bulldogs, Georgia would carry a 34-7 advantage into halftime, and for the game would out-gain Kentucky in total yardage, 608-183.

SEC football’s lone unbeaten remaining at 6-0 overall, as well as the lone SEC East team still yet to lose in conference play at 3-0, Georgia will now travel this weekend to Vanderbilt.
