8. Brady Cook (Missouri)

Previous Ranking: 10

Brady Cook filled up the stat-sheets again in Week 6 as Missouri lost a shootout to LSU 49-39. Even with the loss, Cook moves up two spots here to 8th. Cook ended up going 30/47 through the air for 411 yards, 2 TD’s, and 2 INT’s (his first two picks of the year). His second interception was a costly one (a pick-6 in the final minute that sealed the game for LSU), but it came as he was trying to make a late drive with his back at his goalline.

For the season, Cook now has a 71.8% completion percentage (135/188 passing), 1,879 passing yards, 16 total TD’s (13 passing, 3 rushing), and 2 INT’s. As just mentioned, if Missouri wants to stay in position to challenge Georgia in the East then Cook and Co. really need to win this weekend as they travel to Lexington to take on Devin Leary and Kentucky.

7. Carson Beck (Georgia)

Previous Ranking: 9

It was a career game for Carson Beck as he is our other QB to move up multiple spots into 7th. Beck went 28/35 through the air for 389 yards, 4 TD’s, and 1 INT as Georgia emphatically took down Kentucky 51-13. Georgia OC Mike Bobo opened things all the way up for Beck for the fist time this season, and Beck responded.

Overall, Beck now has a 73.5% completion percentage (144/196 passing), 1,886 passing yards, 51 rushing yards, 13 total TD’s (11 passing, 2 rushing), and 3 INT’s. Beck will be looking to keep up his momentum as the Dawgs travel to Nashville to take on Vanderbilt at Noon Eastern on Saturday.
