SEC Football: Missouri, Florida rise in Week 8 2023 power rankings

Also remaining at No. 12 is Auburn, as the Tigers dropped their third consecutive game by falling on the road at LSU, 48-18. A game in which the Tigers never led, Auburn would trail by a score of 17-0 at the end of the first quarter, while also being out-gained in total yardage, 563-293.
Now sitting at 3-3 overall, as well as winless in SEC play at 0-3, Auburn will return home Saturday for a matchup against Ole Miss.
11. South Carolina Gamecocks

South Carolina remains at No. 11 this week after dropping their second-straight game, falling at home to Florida by a final score of 41-39. A close game throughout, the Gamecocks would be out-gained in total yardage, 494-465, in the contest, while also committing two turnovers compared to Florida’s none.
Now sitting at 2-4 overall, as well as 1-3 in SEC play, South Carolina will now travel to Missouri on Saturday.
