8. Kentucky Wildcats

Previous Ranking: 6

Dropping two spots from No. 6 to No. 8 this week is Kentucky, as the Wildcats suffered what was their second-straight loss by falling at home to Missouri, 38-21. A game in which the Wildcats committed three turnovers, Kentucky would originally jump out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, but would be outscored a combined 38-7 across the remainder of the game.

Now sitting at 5-2 overall, as well as 2-2 in SEC play, Kentucky will not play this Saturday due to a bye week.

7. Florida Gators

Previous Ranking: 9

Rising two spots this week from No. 9 to No. 7 is Florida, as the Gators picked up a big 41-39 road win at South Carolina, which was their second-straight. In what was a close game throughout, the Gators would carry a 24-21 lead into halftime, and eventually took the lead inside a minute left via a 21-yard touchdown pass from Graham Mertz to Ricky Pearsall.

Florida now enters their bye week at 5-2 overall, as well as 3-1 in SEC play.
