6. Missouri Tigers

Previous Ranking: 8

Also rising two spots this week from No. 8 to No. 6 are the Missouri Tigers, who got back on their winning ways Saturday with a big 38-21 road win at Kentucky. After trailing 14-0 at the end of the first quarter, the Tigers would dominate across the remainder of the contest, outscoring Kentucky a combined 38-7 across the final three quarters.

Now sitting at 6-1 overall, as well as 2-1 in SEC play, Missouri returns home Saturday to face the South Carolina Gamecocks.

5. LSU Tigers

Previous Ranking: 5

Remaining at No. 5 this week is LSU, as the Tigers posted one of their most impressive showings of the season so far via a 48-18 home win over Auburn. A complete performance from the Tigers, LSU would hold a 17-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, and would out-gain Auburn in total yardage a combined 563-293.

LSU (5-2 overall, 4-1 in SEC) is the lone SEC football team to play a non-conference game this weekend, as the Tigers host Army.
