Speaking of the Crimson Tide, Alabama remains at No. 2 this week after their 24-21 home win over Arkansas, which was also their fifth-straight. A game in which Alabama held a 21-6 lead at halftime, the Crimson Tide would out-gain the Razorbacks in total yardage for the contest, 415-250.

Sitting at 6-1 overall, as well as atop the SEC West at 4-0, Alabama will now host the SEC’s top matchup this weekend against Tennessee in Tuscaloosa.

1. Georgia Bulldogs

Remaining in the No. 1 spot in this week’s update is Georgia, as the two-time defending national champions remained unbeaten with a 37-20 road win at Vanderbilt. A game that was actually tied 7-7 at the end of the first quarter, Georgia would outscore the Commodores a combined 30-13 across the final three quarters, as well as out-gain Vanderbilt in total yardage, 552-219.

SEC football’s lone unbeaten at 7-0 overall, as well as sitting atop the SEC East undefeated at 4-0 in conference play, Georgia now enters their bye week.
