1. The Alabama Crimson Tide

We all know Nick Saban is an unbelievable coach, but we can’t always pinpoint the reason. The reason this time; benching Jalen Milroe. Don’t worry. There’s no need to check your eyesight. You read that right. Milroe is not a perfect quarterback, but he sure is athletic and multi-faceted. And sometimes, a player needs to realize they’re not playing consequence-free football. That’s the perspective Saban provided, and Milroe has responded, leading the Crimson Tide to four straight wins.

A coach will learn a lot about a player in how they handle these types of situations, and by all accounts Milroe handled it like a professional. And with the No. 17 Tennessee Volunteers and No. 19 LSU Tigers next up on their schedule, the world is going to learn a lot about the Crimson Tide.

Despite already having a loss on their record, I believe the Alabama Crimson Tide, not the Georgia Bulldogs, are poised to make another run at a national championship.
