LSU Tigers – F Daimion Collins

One of SEC basketball’s biggest preseason breakout candidates comes at LSU in Collins, who will take the court with the Tigers this season after transferring from Kentucky. The former five-star prospect has started 2-of-52 games across the last two seasons at Kentucky, averaging a combined 2.4 PPG and 2 RPG on 51.1% shooting from the field.

Mississippi State Bulldogs – F KeShawn Murphy

Entering what is his third season in Starkville, Murphy is the pick for Mississippi State. The redshirt sophomore appeared in a total of 19 games off the Bulldogs bench last season, averaging 3.3 PPG and 1.7 RPG.

Missouri Tigers – F Aidan Shaw

For what is an experienced 2023-24 Missouri team, the pick for the Tigers goes to Shaw, who enters his sophomore season in Columbia. The former four-star prospect started 2-of-32 games a year ago for the Tigers, averaging 2.7 PPG and 1.7 RPG on 56.3% shooting from the field.
