Remaining at No. 2 this week is Alabama, as the Crimson Tide won their sixth-straight game by defeating Tennessee at home, 34-20. A game in which Alabama originally trailed 20-7 at halftime, the Crimson Tide would outscore Tennessee a combined 27-0 in the second half, and just simply took complete control in the third and fourth quarters.

Alabama now enters their bye week sitting at 7-1 overall, as well as undefeated at 5-0 in SEC play.

SEC football’s final team that did not play due to a bye week Saturday, Georgia rounds out this week’s update by remaining in the No. 1 spot.

Sitting undefeated at 7-0 overall, as well as 4-0 in SEC football play, Georgia returns to action Saturday in Jacksonville, FL against Florida.
