12. Max Johnson (Texas A&M)

Previous Ranking: 12

Johnson and the Aggies also got the week off in Week 8 as he stays put. On the year, Johnson has a 56.8% completion percentage (67/118 passing), 898 passing yards, 8 total TD’s (7 passing, 1 rushing), and 4 INT’s.

The Aggies will look to start their post-bye week finish strong as they host Spencer Rattler and South Carolina at Noon Eastern on Saturday.

11. Mike Wright/Will Rogers (Mississippi State)

Previous Ranking: 5

With Mike Wright getting the start in Week 8 and Will Rogers still potentially out in Week 9, the duo drops several spots after a low-scoring 7-3 win over Arkansas. Mike Wright got his first start at Mississippi State and went 8/12 through the air for 85 yards passing, 60 yards rushing, 1 passing TD, and 1 INT in the win.

On the year, Wright currently has a 69.9% completion percentage (16/23 passing), 146 passing yards, 198 rushing yards, 5 total TD’s (2 passing, 3 rushing), and 1 INT. Rogers still has a 61.4% completion percentage (105/171 passing), 1,275 passing yards, 10 passing TD’s, and 4 INT’s.

While we don’t yet know who will be starting at quarterback, Mississippi State will travel to the plains to take on Payton Thorne and Robby Ashford and Auburn at 3:30 pm Eastern on Saturday.
