6. Joe Milton III (Tennessee)

Previous Ranking: 7

Joe Milton had a strong game, but once again couldn’t get much going down the field as the Vols squandered a halftime lead in a 34-20 loss to Alabama. Milton ended up going 28/41 through the air for 271 passing yards and 2 TD’s (no INT’s). He also led the way for Tennessee on the ground with 59 yards rushing. For the season, Milton has a 62.8% completion percentage (140/223 passing), 1,535 passing yards, 232 rushing yards, 16 total TD’s (12 passing, 4 rushing), and 4 INT’s.

Tennessee will look to rebound and stay within striking distance in the SEC East as they take on Devin Leary and Kentucky at 7:00 pm Eastern on Saturday.

5. Carson Beck (Georgia)

Previous Ranking: 6

Carson Beck and Georgia are our final SEC football team who were on a bye week in Week 8. Beck has a 73.6% completion percentage (173/235 passing), 2,147 passing yards, 50 rushing yards, 15 total TD’s (12 passing, 3 rushing), and 4 INT’s on the year.
