2. Alabama Crimson Tide

Previous Ranking: 2

The final SEC football team that did not play due to a bye week this past weekend, Alabama remains at the No. 2 spot.

Sitting at 7-1 overall, as well as undefeated at 5-0 atop the SEC West, the Crimson Tide will host arguably SEC football’s top matchup Saturday against LSU.

1. Georgia Bulldogs

Previous Ranking: 1

Concluding this week’s update is Georgia remaining at No. 1, as the Bulldogs stayed unbeaten with a 43-20 neutral-site win over Florida in Jacksonville. A game in which Georgia held a 26-7 lead at halftime, as well as 36-7 entering the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would out-gain Florida in total yardage, 486-339.

Now sitting undefeated at 8-0 overall, as well as unbeaten atop the SEC East at 5-0 in conference play, Georgia will host Missouri this weekend.
