LSU Tigers

October Commits:

  • 4-star OT Weston Davis
  • 4-star EDGE CJ Jackson
  • 4-star WR TaRon Francis
  • 3-star ATH PJ Woodland
  • 3-star CB Bernard Causey

We begin our look at the SEC’s biggest recruiting winners from October 2023 with the LSU Tigers, who added a total of five commitments during the month, the most of any program from across the conference. Of those five, four came from the Tigers 2024 class, with the lone 2025 commit being that of TaRon Francis, a four-star wide receiver out of in-state Edna Karr (LA).

In addition to Francis, the Tigers landed two additional four-star prospects during October 2023, with both coming via their 2024 class in Weston Davis and CJ Jackson. Davis, a four-star offensive tackle out of Beaumont United (TX), flipped to the Tigers late in the month from Texas A&M, while Jackson is a four-star edge rusher out of Tucker (GA) who had previously been committed to Georgia Tech.

The Tigers final two commitments during October came from a pair of three-star’s in PJ Woodland and Bernard Causey. Woodland, a former Mississippi State commit, is an athlete out of Oak Grove (MS), while Causey, a former Ole Miss commit, is a cornerback out of in-state John F. Kennedy (LA).
