We’re heading into the thick of the biggest games of the season, and with that being said, here is our Week 10 SEC Football Quarterback Power Rankings.

Thorne rises, Wright falls in SEC Football Quarterback Power Rankings

14. Ken Seals/Walter Taylor/AJ Swann (Vanderbilt)

Previous Ranking: 13

Things got even more complicated at QB for Vanderbilt on Saturday. With AJ Swann still out with injury (and his ETA for return still unknown), the ‘Dores ultimately had to go to their bench for a spark. Walter Taylor relieved Ken Seals and gave Vandy a bit of spark initially before cooling off himself. Seals was 4/8 passing for 22 yards and 1 INT. Taylor was 4/12 through the air for 38 passing yards, 59 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD, and 1 INT.

Seals has a 61.1% completion percentage (69/113 passing), 858 passing yards, 9 total TD’s (8 passing, 1 rushing), and 3 INT’s on the year. Swann still has a 53.8% completion percentage (93/173 passing), 1,290 passing yards, 12 total TD’s (11 passing, 1 rushing), and 7 INT’s. Saturday was Taylor’s first passing attempts of the season, so those are his season totals there, but he does have 64 yard rushing on the season in total.

Vandy will look to snap their skid at 4:00 pm Eastern on Saturday as the host Payton Thorne/Robby Ashford and Auburn. Vanderbilt is planning to use both Seals and Taylor against Auburn.

13. Mike Wright/Will Rogers (Mississippi State)

Previous Ranking: 11

It was a tough week on offense for Mississippi State as they fell to Auburn 27-13. Mike Wright made his second consecutive start at QB, going 16/32 passing for 161 passing yards, 63 rushing yards, 1 passing TD, and 1 INT.

For the year, Wright has a 58.2% completion percentage (32/55 passing), 307 passing yards, 261 rushing yards, 6 total TD’s (3 passing, 3 rushing), and 2 INT’s. Rogers still sits at a 61.4% completion percentage (105/171 passing), 1,275 passing yards, 10 passing TD’s, and 4 INT’s.

The Bulldogs will hope to get Will Rogers back this week as they host Devin Leary and Kentucky at 7:30 pm Eastern.
