12. Payton Thorne/Robby Ashford (Auburn)

Payton Thorne had arguably his best game as an Auburn Tiger in Week 9 as Auburn knocked off Mississippi State 27-13. Thorne went 20/26 through the air for 230 passing yards, 38 rushing yards, 3 passing TD’s, and 0 INT’s. Thorne played so well in fact that we only saw Robby Ashford for a couple of plays. Ashford ended up with 2 carries for 8 yards in the game (he didn’t attempt a pass).
Thorne now has a 64.1% completion percentage (100/156 passing), 1,075 passing yards, 297 rushing yards, 10 total TD’s (8 passing, 2 rushing), and 5 INT’s. Ashford has a 53.8% completion percentage (14/26 passing), 145 passing yards, 188 rushing yards, 7 total TD’s (2 passing, 5 rushing), and 1 INT. Auburn will look to get above .500 on Saturday as they travel to take on Vanderbilt at 4:00 pm Eastern.
11. Max Johnson (Texas A&M)

Max Johnson had arguably his best start of the year as Texas A&M beat South Carolina 30-17. He ended up going 20/30 through the air for 249 passing yards and 1 TD (no INT’s). Johnson now has a 58.8% completion (87/148 passing), 1,147 passing yards, 9 total TD’s (8 passing, 1 rushing), and 4 INT’s on the year.
Texas A&M will look for arguably their biggest win of the season as they take on Jaxson Dart and Ole Miss at Noon Eastern on Saturday.
