After a trip to the second round of the NCAA tournament, Mississippi State has turned in an impressive transfer portal class. The group features one of the best SEC-to-SEC transfers in Erynn Barnum, and then two former top Big East players in Lauren Park-Lane and Darrione Rogers.

Barnum heads to Starkville to use her extra “Covid-year” of eligibility after a five year career at Arkansas. Barnum was second team All-SEC this past year after averaging 15 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 1.8 APG, and 1.3 SPG. Barnum shot 55.6% from the field (although she shot just 29.5% from deep). Overall in her career at Arkansas, Barum averaged 9.4 PPG and 5.1 RPG. Adding a player with 114 SEC games under her built is always a big addition, especially when they are an All-SEC player as well. Barnum is ranked as the No. 21 transfer in the class according to ESPN.

Lauren Park-Lane is another very experienced player (120 starts) coming from Seton Hall. Park-Lane is a three time first team All-Big East selection after running point for the Pirates for the last four years. Last year, Park-Lane averaged 20.8 PPG, 6.3 APG, 2.7 RPG, and 1.2 SPG. Park-Lane ranked top 15 in the nation this past year in both PPG (14th) and APG (12th). Overall for her career, Park-Lane averaged 15.9 PPG, 5.8 APG, 2.3 RPG, and 1.3 SPG. Park-Lane is ranked as the No. 16 transfer in the class.

Rogers is another talented former Big East guard headed to Mississippi State. Rogers averaged 16.8 PPG, 4.7 RPG, and 5.1 APG last year for Blue Demons. Rogers was a second team All-Big East selection last year after putting up those numbers. Overall for her career at DePaul, Rogers averaged 12.3 PPG, 4.7 RPG, and 5.1 APG across 90 games (70 starts) while shooting 37.1% from the field and 34.3% from three. Rogers is also ranked as the No. 19 transfer in the class.
