After six SEC teams were ranked in the initial College Football Playoff Rankings a week ago, which programs were ranked in the latest update from Tuesday night entering Week 11?

Ole Miss rises, LSU falls in Week 11 College Football Playoff Rankings

Georgia Bulldogs

  • Previous Ranking: No. 2
  • Current Ranking: No. 2

Coming off their 30-21 home win over a Top 25 opponent in Missouri, Georgia remains at No. 2 as we enter Week 11. Remaining for the two-time defending national champions is their home finale Saturday against Ole Miss, followed by road trips to Tennessee and Georgia Tech.

Alabama Crimson Tide

  • Previous Ranking: No. 8
  • Current Ranking: No. 8

Alabama also remains at their No. 8 ranking after picking up a Top 25 win at home Saturday, as the Crimson Tide defeated LSU, 42-28. Remaining for Alabama is a road trip to Kentucky this week, a home matchup against Chattanooga, and a road trip to Auburn.

Ole Miss Rebels

  • Previous Ranking: No. 10
  • Current Ranking: No. 9

The first SEC team to rise this week was Ole Miss, as the Rebels jumped from No. 10 to No. 9 after their 38-35 home win over Texas A&M. Next up for the Rebels is the aforementioned matchup this Saturday at Georgia, which is followed by a home game against UL Monroe, as well as a road trip to Mississippi State.

Tennessee Volunteers

  • Previous Ranking: No. 17
  • Current Ranking: No. 13

Tennessee was the biggest riser of any SEC team this week, as the Volunteers jumped four spots from No. 17 to No. 13 after their dominant 59-3 home win over UConn. The Volunteers will travel for the final time during the regular season Saturday to Missouri, which will be followed by home matchups against Georgia and Vanderbilt.

Missouri Tigers

  • Previous Ranking: No. 12
  • Current Ranking: No. 14

Missouri is the first SEC team to drop this week, falling two spots from No. 12 to No. 14 after their 30-21 road loss at Georgia. Remaining for Missouri are two home matchups against Tennessee and Florida, followed by a road trip to Arkansas.

LSU Tigers

  • Previous Ranking: No. 14
  • Current Ranking: No. 19

The final SEC team to be ranked in this week’s College Football Playoff Rankings was LSU, who would drop five spots from No. 14 to No. 19 after falling at Alabama, 42-28. LSU has three home games remaining this season against Florida, Georgia State, and Texas A&M.
