October Commits:

  • 5-star CG Boogie Fland

As for Kentucky, the Wildcats were the first of multiple programs across the conference to land a single commitment during October 2023. However, that commitment for the Wildcats was likely the biggest among those other programs, as Kentucky added the biggest name to their 2024 class in Boogie Fland.

Fland is one of the nation’s premier combo guards in the 2024 class, where he is rated as a five-star prospect, as well as the No. 2 overall player at the position nationally. The five-star attends Archbishop Stepinac High School in New York, where he is also one of the state’s top players.

Now the second player in Kentucky’s 2024 class, Fland joins Somto Cyril as commitments for the Wildcats this cycle. Cyril is rated as a four-star center who plays for Overtime Elite.
