For the first time in several weeks, every SEC football team was in action in Week 10 which gives us some movement in this week’s SEC Quarterback Power Rankings.

Milroe rises, Leary falls in Week 11 SEC football quarterback power rankings

14. Mike Wright/Chris Parson/Will Rogers (Mississippi State)

Previous ranking: 13

With Will Rogers still out, Wright got the start once again for Mississippi State. He was eventually replaced by Freshman Chris Parson however. Wright was 11/21 for 78 passing yards, 20 rushing yards, and 1 INT. Parson then went 6/14 for 67 passing yards. On the year, Wright has a 56.6% completion percentage (43/76 passing), 385 passing yards, 281 rushing yards, 6 total TD’s (3 passing, 3 rushing), and 3 INT’s. Rogers still has a 61.4% completion percentage (105/171 passing), 1,275 passing yards, 10 passing TD’s, and 4 INT’s. Those numbers were the first of the year for Parson.

Moving forward, Rogers is currently day-to-day as Mississippi state prepares to take on Max Johnson and Texas A&M at 7:30 pm Eastern in College Station.

13. Ken Seals/Walter Taylor/AJ Swann (Vanderbilt)

Previous ranking: 14

While we had heard that Vanderbilt was going to play both Seals and Taylor on Saturday (and they did), Seals got a majority of the action. Seals went 16/29 through the air for 160 passing yards, 20 rushing yards, 1 pass TD, and 1 INT. Taylor went 1/3 for 6 passing yards.

For the season, Seal has a 59.9% completion percentage (85/142 passing), 1,018 passing yards, 10 total TD’s (9 passing, 1 rushing), and 4 INT’s. Swann still sits with a 53.8% completion percentage (93/173 passing), 1,290 passing yards, 12 total TD’s (11 passing, 1 rushing), and 7 INT’s. Walter now has a 33.3% completion percentage (5/15 passing), 44 passing yards, 64 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD, and 1 INT.

Seals appears to still be the guy at QB for Vanderbilt, but their QB situation remains fluid as the ‘Dores prepare to take on Spencer Rattler and South Carolina at Noon Eastern on Saturday.
