12. Payton Thorne (Auburn)

Previous ranking: 12

While Thorne stays put at 12, you might notice there is a slight adjustment here as Payton Thorne is now listed by himself. Thorne has played just about every snap the last two weeks, and now has seemingly worked out of Auburn’s two-QB system. In Saturday’s 31-15 win over Vanderbilt, Thorne went 17/27 for 194 passing yards, 40 rushing yards, 2 passing TD’s, and 1 INT.

On the year, Thorne now has a 63.9% completion percentage (117/183 passing), 1,269 passing yards, 337 rushing yards, 12 total TD’s (10 passing, 2 rushing), and 6 INT’s. Thorne will look to get Auburn bowl eligible as they take on KJ Jefferson and Arkansas at 4:00 pm Eastern on Saturday.

11. Max Johnson (Texas A&M)

Previous ranking: 11

It was another tough loss for Texas A&M as they lost their third one-possession game in their last four games. Max Johnson did well however, as he went 31/42 for 305 passing yards, 2 total TD’s (1 passing, 1 rushing), and 1 INT. For the year, Johnson now has a 62.1% completion percentage (118/190 passing), 1,452 passing yards, 11 total TD’s (9 passing, 2 rushing), and 5 INT’s

The Aggies can reach bowl eligibility this week as A&M hosts Mississippi State (who has an unclear QB picture at the moment) at 7:30 pm Eastern.
