SEC Football: Milroe rises, Leary falls in SEC Quarterback Power Rankings
4. KJ Jefferson (Arkansas)
Previous ranking: 4
Arkansas absolutely had to have a win, and they got it as the Razorbacks took down Florida 39-36 in Overtime. Jefferson had one of his better games in a while, as he was 20/31 through the air for 255 passing yards, 92 rushing yards, 3 total TD’s (2 passing, 1 rushing), and 1 INT. Jefferson now has a 65.2% completion percentage (163/250 passing), 1,802 passing yards, 292 rushing yards, 18 total TD’s (16 passing, 2 rushing), and 8 INT’s on the year.
As I mentioned last week, Arkansas must win-out to get bowl eligible and that journey continues on Saturday against Payton Thorne and Auburn at 4:00 pm Eastern in Fayetteville.
3. Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss)
Previous ranking: 3
In one of the best games in the SEC this year, Ole Miss knocked off Texas A&M 38-35. It was another strong outing from Dart as he keeps the Rebels in the CFP race. Dart ended up going 24/33 through the air for 387 passing yards and 2 TD’s. For the season, Dart has a 65.6% completion percentage (160/244 passing), 2,467 passing yards, 334 rushing yards, 23 total TD’s (16 passing, 7 rushing), and 4 INT’s.
With College GameDay in attendance, Ole Miss will look to get full-on in the CFP discussion as they take on Carson Beck and Georgia at 7:00 pm Eastern on Saturday.
