Dropping a spot from No. 7 to No. 8 is Kentucky, as the Wildcats fell at home to Alabama by a final score of 49-21. A game in which the Wildcats fell behind 21-0 early, Kentucky would trail 28-7 at halftime, as well as be out-gained in total yardage a combined 444-253.
Now sitting at 6-4 overall, as well as 3-4 in SEC play, Kentucky will travel this weekend to South Carolina.
7. Texas A&M Aggies

Rising a spot from No. 8 to No. 7 this week is Texas A&M, as the Aggies are the second of those two aforementioned SEC football programs who made a coaching change by parting with head coach Jimbo Fisher coming off their 51-10 home win over Mississippi State. As for the Aggies’ win, Texas A&M would force four turnovers defensively, as well as out-gain the Bulldogs in total yardage, 396-237, as well as hold a commanding 34-10 lead at halftime.
Now sitting at 6-4 overall, as well as 4-3 in SEC play, Texas A&M will play the first game under interim head coach Elijah Robinson at home Saturday against Abilene Christian.
