As we near the end of the 2023 SEC football regular season, the two spots in Atlanta have been wrapped up, but there’s still a lot to play for. Some teams are fighting for bowl-eligibility, while others are fighting for NY6 bowl bids or spots in the CFP.

14. Mike Wright/Chris Parson (Mississippi State)

It was another rough outing offensively for Mississippi State as they fell 51-10 to Texas A&M. Both Wright and Parson saw action, with Will Rogers still sidelined. Wright was 5/9 for 68 passing yards and16 rushing yards (no TD’s or INT’s). Parson was 5/12 for 36 passing yards, 11 rushing yards, 0 TD’s, and 3 INT’s.
On the year, Wright now has a 56.5% completion percentage (48/85 passing), 453 passing yards, 297 rushing yards, 6 total TD’s (3 passing, 3 rushing), and 3 INT’s. Parson now has a 42.3% completion percentage (11/26 passing), 103 passing yards, 0 TD’s, and 3 INT’s. Will Rogers still has a 61.4% completion percentage (105/171 passing), 1,275 passing yards, 10 passing TD’s, and 4 INT’s. Mississippi State will take on an in-state non-conference foe on Saturday as they battle Southern Miss at Noon Eastern.
13. Ken Seals/Walter Taylor (Vanderbilt)

Seals and Taylor split time, but it was Seals who got all the passing attempts (and Taylor who ran the ball) in Vanderbilt’s 47-6 loss to South Carolina. Seals was 13/28 passing for 104 passing yards, 12 rushing yards, 1 passing TD, and 0 INT’s. Taylor ran for 38 yards.
On the year, Seals has a 57.6% completion percentage (98/170 passing), 1,122 passing yards, 11 total TD’s (10 passing, 1 rushing), and 4 INT’s. Taylor has a 33.3% completion percentage (5/15 passing), 44 passing yards, 103 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD, and 1 INT.
