8. South Carolina Gamecocks

Previous Ranking: 10

Rising two spots from No. 10 to No. 8 is South Carolina, who picked up their third consecutive win Saturday by defeating Kentucky at home, 17-14. Despite being out-gained in total yardage, 293-257, the Gamecocks would force three Kentucky turnovers in the contest, as well as shutout the Wildcats in the fourth quarter.

Now sitting at 5-6 overall, as well as 3-5 in SEC play, South Carolina will host in-state rival Clemson this weekend needing a win to qualify for a bowl game.

7. Texas A&M Aggies

Previous Ranking: 7

Remaining at No. 7 this week is Texas A&M, as the Aggies won their second-straight game over the weekend with a 38-10 home victory over Abilene Christian. Despite the game being tied 7-7 at the end of the first quarter, Texas A&M would outscore Abilene Christian a combined 31-3 over the remainder of the contest, as well as out-gain the Wildcats in total yardage, 448-242.

Now sitting at 7-4 overall, as well as 4-3 in SEC play, Texas A&M will travel this Saturday for a matchup against LSU.
