10. Florida Gators

Previous Ranking: 9

Dropping a spot from No. 9 to No. 10 is Florida, as the Gators you could argue are also coming off a rough start to the year. After a win over Loyola-Maryland to begin the year, the Gators would fall to Virginia on a neutral-court before winning three-straight over Florida A&M, Florida State, and Pittsburgh, but have struggled recently by dropping their last two to Baylor and Wake Forest.

Now sitting at 4-3 overall, Florida will host three more home games during their non-conference schedule against Merrimack, Grambling, and Quinnipiac. The Gators will also play three neutral-site games against Richmond, East Carolina, and Michigan.

9. Ole Miss Rebels

Previous Ranking: 10

Rising a spot from No. 10 to No. 9 is Ole Miss, as the Rebels have enjoyed a strong start to the Chris Beard era in Oxford. The second of those two aforementioned undefeated SEC basketball teams, Ole Miss has so far defeated the likes of Alabama State, Eastern Washington, Detroit Mercy, Sam Houston, Temple, and NC State.

Still undefeated at 6-0 overall, Florida will play four more home games during the non-conference against Memphis, Mount St. Mary’s, Troy, and Bryant. The Rebels will also travel to UCF, as well as play California and Southern Miss on a neutral-court.
