6. Auburn Tigers

Previous Ranking: 7

Rising a spot from No. 7 to No. 6 is Auburn, with the Tigers off to a solid start to the year. After a neutral-site loss to Baylor to begin the season, Auburn has since won five-straight, which came against Southeastern Louisiana, Notre Dame, St. Bonaventure, Alabama A&M, and Virginia Tech.

Now sitting at 5-1 overall, Auburn has home games remaining on their non-conference slate against USC, Alabama State, Chattanooga, and Pennsylvania. The Tigers will also face Indiana and UNC Asheville on a neutral-court, as well as travel to Appalachian State.

5. Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous Ranking: 4

Dropping a spot from No. 4 to No. 5 is Arkansas, as the Razorbacks have been one of the SEC’s more intriguing teams so far this season. After beginning the season with three-straight wins over Alcorn State, Gardner-Webb, and Old Dominion, the Razorbacks would then drop three of their next five to UNC Greensboro, Memphis, and North Carolina, as well as defeat Stanford and, most recently, Duke during that span.

Now sitting at 5-3 overall, Arkansas will host Furman, Lipscomb, Abilene Christian, and UNC Wilmington across the remainder of their non-conference schedule. The Razorbacks will also face Oklahoma on a neutral-court.
